Born To Dare

Quando un marchio come TUDOR entra nel mondo del ciclismo, si può essere certi che non lo fa alla leggera. Il noto produttore svizzero di orologi, conosciuto per il suo approccio coraggioso, entra nel ciclismo per rivoluzionarlo tenendo fede alla propria idea: “meglio una posizione in meno al traguardo dopo averle provate tutte, che una in più alla fine di una corsa nell’anonimato”. Perché il modo in cui si taglia il traguardo è tanto importante quanto la posizione in cui lo si fa.

Questa filosofia e la direzione di Fabian Cancellara, una vera leggenda del ciclismo con le sue due medaglie d’oro alle Olimpiadi, i quattro titoli mondiali e le sette vittorie nelle classiche monumento, sono alla base del futuro di sicuro successo che attende il Tudor Pro Cycling Team.

BMC supporterà questa visione e parabola vincente fornendo alla squadra più promettente nella storia del ciclismo le bici più veloci al mondo.

Tudor Pro Cycling Team non è stato fondato per subire la corsa, ma per imporre il proprio passo.

Un programma diverso

Tutto è iniziato nel 2019 con un team di sviluppo. Dalla stagione 2023 Tudor Pro Cycling è diventato un UCI Pro Team di 20 corridori, di cui quasi la metà svizzeri.

Per competere ai massimi livelli e vincere, Tudor Pro Cycling Team fonda la propria attività su principi chiave quali l’umiltà, il duro lavoro e il benessere mentale di chiunque faccia parte del programma, siano essi corridori o personale dello staff.

Il cuore del progetto è un approccio basato sulla persona. TUDOR e Cancellara hanno in mente una squadra motivata a migliorare ogni giorno, ad affrontare le paure e a cercare di superare i propri limiti. La prestazione è la misura concreta del successo, ma il modo in cui i corridori gareggiano è un aspetto fondamentale della visione dei fondatori.

Il team è stato creato per supportare i giovani che hanno da poco realizzato il sogno di diventare professionisti. Adesso, nell’ambito della squadra, possono crescere e diventare ciclisti migliori e persone più felici.

Il futuro

I nuovi ingaggi per la stagione 2024 danno un’idea delle ambizioni del team: direttamente dalla UAE Emirates, approda in TUDOR l’esperto ed ex campione europeo Matteo Trentin; Alberto Dainese, il velocista vincitore di svariate tappe del Giro d’Italia, arriva dopo tre stagioni in DSM-Firmenich insieme all’australiano Michael Storer, che aumenterà il peso della TUDOR in ottica classifica generale nella grandi corse a tappe.

Infine, la partnership di sei anni siglata con BMC dimostra ulteriormente, qualora ce ne fosse bisogno, che la squadra ha programmi a lungo termine. E BMC la aiuterà a raggiungere la vetta.
