Velodrome Suisse is Switzerland’s national cycling stadium. It is the training center for enthusiastic cyclists, as well as the Swiss cycling stars of the future. No other Swiss governing sports body represents so many medalists at the Olympic Summer Games, World Cups and European Championships such as Swiss Cycling, making the successful future of the Swiss cycling scene, one of national importance. To ensure that Swiss cyclists can continue to triumph on the world circuit, the Velodrome Suisse, a 8000m2, multi-functional facility with a 250m long cycling track as its centerpiece, was developed vis-à-vis the BMC Switzerland Headquarters in Grenchen, Solothurn in 2013. The Velodrome Suisse has become an important asset - for Grenchen, for the region, and for cycling in Switzerland.
