The ultimate balance stiffness and vertical compliance
Active suspension is not a typical feature built into road bike frames, but that doesn‘t mean there is no suspension at all. Frames, forks, wheels, seat posts, handlebars and stems all work together to enable a dynamic system that acts as a universal suspension system. We take this natural system approach and go beyond with thin, low seat stays, offset dropouts, carbon fork tips, and a re-designed seatpost to maximize the vertical component of system dynamics. Combined with our Angle Compliance Technology, we have developed the most high-performance system compliance available today. The end result is the ultimate balance between comfort and performance for a ride that is both forgiving and fast.
Angle Compliance Technology
Traditional frame designs consist of two triangles with straight elements, which are very stiff under force, even if they are extremely thin. Adding bends, or angles, to those elements increases compliance immensely. Through the application of our Angle Compliance technology, the rear triangle can absorb and isolate impacts independent of the rest of the bike, without affecting the rider. Angle Compliance features are found at the seat stays, chain stays, fork legs, and seat posts on several models where comfort is a priority.
