2022, marks the second year we reinforce our presence in the World Tour peloton with AG2R CITROËN TEAM. The long-established French équipe opened a new chapter of success in 2021, with Citroën joining AG2R as a major title sponsor.

Under the guidance of Vincent Lavenu, the team continues to bring the firepower that ensures to strengthen their presence in the highest echelon of road racing. With an impressive roster of talent, including Tour de France stage winner Ben O Connor, U23 World Champion Benoit Cosnefroy, Monument winner Bob Jungels and Olympic Champion, and BMC stalwart, Greg Van Avermaet, their race-pedigree helps drive their continued quest for success.

The AG2R CITROËN TEAM riders race aboard the Teammachine SLR01, the Timemachine Road and the Timemachine. Our iconic flagship, the Teammachine SLR01, is set to build on its success story with the team this season, while the supreme black and white scheme - boasting the unique red cockpit – has established itself as a fan favourite. This promising partnership destined to continue until 2023 and a shift in target from purely Grand Tour success to an added emphasis on the Spring Classics means we are ready for the AG2R CITROËN TEAM to break away from the peloton.
