Lorraine Truong out of next two EWS rounds28. July 2015, Grenchen, Switzerland — Enduro Team
Due to her heavy crash in Samoëns, Lorraine Truong will miss the two upcoming rounds of the Enduro World Series taking place in Crested Butte, Colorado and Whistler, Canada.
Lorraine Truong crashed in the penultimate stage of the EWS in Samoëns. The pocket rocket of the BMC Factory Trailcrew somehow managed to finish the event and score a few points with a final 8th place. However, she still hasn’t recovered from the crash and has to stay away from her bike for an indefinite period.
Currently ranked 8th of the Enduro World Series ranking, the Swiss rider will miss the opportunity to score precious points but also and above all her favorite event: “Whistler has always been the highlight of my season. I learn a lot there and enjoy the riding so much so I am very disappointed to not be able to compete this year.” She will now focus on the end of the season.
Following her withdrawn François Bailly-Maître will be the only member of the BMC Factory Trailcrew taking part to the rounds 5 and 6 of the EWS.
