BMC Development Team Set for Competitive Le Triptyque des Monts et Château29. March 2017, Santa Rosa, California (USA) — Development Team
BMC Development Team will be targeting stage wins when a seven-rider roster heads to Belgium next week for Le Triptyque des Monts et Château (March 31 - April 2).
BMC Development Team will have multiple options at the three-day stage race, Sports Director Jens Blatter said.
“This is the next important stage race for the team. We aren’t lining up with a specific leader as we have a strong team and everyone will get the chance to show what they are capable of. I think the individual time trial on the third day will be very important for the overall General Classification and we have a good mix of new and experienced riders who can all perform well on this stage. Our first priority will be to target stage wins and we will see how the General Classification develops from there.”
“In the past the level has been very high at this race but the team have been performing well already this season and I think we are ready to ride aggressively and challenge for results.”
Callum Scotson will be lining up for his first stage race with BMC Development Team at Le Triptyque des Monts et Château.
“I'm feeling good going into the race as I have been working hard for the past couple of months. But, I'm not going to put too much pressure on myself, since it is my first stage race of the season. I will really focus on learning and getting used to how the racing works, since I haven't done too many big races in Europe before. However I think Belgian roads really suit me and I'm especially motivated to have a real go at finishing well in the time trial,”Scotson explained.
