BMC Development Team Ready For Olympia’s Tour25. September 2016, Santa Rosa, California (USA) — Development Team
BMC Development Team will be looking for repeat success at the Olympia’s Tour when a strong six-rider squad, including Nathan Van Hooydonck who finished third in 2015, lines up on the start line next week.
Sports Director Klaas Lodewyck said that the team is heading to the Netherlands looking for stage victories over the six-day stage race.
“This is the last preparation for the riders heading to the World Championships. We have a really strong team going to the race. On paper I think it is possibly one of the strongest teams we have had this season so I really hope that we will be able to produce good results over all the stages. The race has it all really with a team time trial and individual time trial but I think with the group of riders going we can really excel in everything. All the guys will have have their chance and will know what to do so we will definitely be going there to make the best of it,” Lodewyck commented.
Van Hooydonck emphasized the strength of the BMC Development Team lining up at this year’s edition of Olympia’s Tour.
“I’m still in tough training at the moment with the World Championships coming up so I am not sure about my shape going into this race but for sure I am going to to give it my all at the race for the team. We have a super strong group heading to this race! With Pavel, Martin and myself as the engine for the TTT, Pascal on the hilly stages and Lukas for Bram's lead out, we will definitely have multiple options to go for success everyday,” Van Hooydonck added.
