Born To Dare

Cuando una marca de la talla de TUDOR se adentra en el mundo del ciclismo, puedes tener la certeza de que van en serio. El fabricante suizo de relojería, famoso por su osadía, ha entrado en escena con una idea revolucionaria: «pierde con la cabeza alta y asegúrate de no cruzar la meta en vano». Porque la manera de cruzar la línea de meta es tan importante como el tiempo que se tarda en hacerlo.

Esta mentalidad y la guía de Fabian Cancellara —leyenda del ciclismo y ganador de dos medallas olímpicas de oro, cuatro Campeonatos del Mundo y siete monumentos— son el primer peldaño hacia el futuro de éxito que espera al equipo Tudor Pro Cycling.

Por su parte, para respaldar esta visión y el proyecto, BMC proporcionará las bicicletas más veloces del mundo al equipo de ciclismo más prometedor de todos los tiempos.

El equipo Tudor Pro Cycling no está aquí para dejarse intimidar, sino para agarrar el toro por los cuernos.

Un programa diferente

Todo empezó en el año 2019, con el equipo de desarrollo, pero no fue hasta principios de 2023 que, con un plantel de 20 ciclistas (casi la mitad, de Suiza), el Tudor Pro Cycling se convirtió en un equipo UCI ProTeam.

Para alcanzar los máximos niveles de rendimiento y ganar carreras, el equipo Tudor Pro Cycling parte de la humildad, el trabajo duro y el bienestar mental de todos los integrantes del programa, tanto los deportistas como el resto del personal.

Y es que las personas son el corazón de este programa. TUDOR y Cancellara comparten una visión: un equipo motivado para mejorar a diario, enfrentarse a sus miedos y atreverse a sobrepasar sus propios límites. Y, si bien el rendimiento es lo que acaba determinando el éxito, la manera de competir es una parte esencial de la filosofía de sus fundadores.

Este equipo se creó para ayudar a los jóvenes ciclistas que sueñan con convertirse en profesionales a crecer y convertirse en mejores deportistas y personas más felices.

El futuro

Las nuevas incorporaciones para 2024 permiten hacerse una idea de la ambición del equipo: Matteo Trentin, veterano y antiguo campeón de Europa, se une a TUDOR procedente de UAE Emirates; Alberto Dainese, esprínter italiano y ganador de varias etapas del Giro d’Italia, llega tras tres temporadas en DSM-firmenich, y, por último, con el australiano Michael Storer, TUDOR adquiere a otro especialista en clasificación general.

Y si todo esto no fuera suficiente para demostrar lo en serio que va el equipo, la asociación de seis años que ha firmado con BMC lo ratifica. Porque, efectivamente, BMC será quien les ayude a alcanzar la gloria.
