Nathan Van Hooydonck is heading into his first full season with BMC Racing Team in 2018 after stepping up to the UCI WorldTour ranks and showing his potential throughout the second half of 2017.

The Belgian National Road Race Championships was a stand-out moment for Van Hooydonck as he demonstrated that he can be up at the front of the race battling against the best in the bunch before he eventually crossed the line fifth.

As a U23 rider, Van Hooydonck impressed at Paris - Roubaix U23 in 2017 after he went on the attack on the iconic Carrefour de l’Arbre before narrowly missing out on a spot on the podium. Van Hooydonck was also Belgian National U23 Road Race Champion in 2015 and Time Trial Champion in 2016.
