Rider profile

Danilo Wyss, who turned pro with BMC Racing Team in 2008, will be lining up for his eleventh season in 2018 and he continues to be an integral and invaluable part of the team.

The former Swiss National Road Race champion has raced in ten Grand Tours and made his Tour de France debut in 2015, riding as part of the team which won the stage 9 team time trial. Wyss is one of BMC Racing Team’s best sprinters and has come close on many occasions, recording a top ten finish on stage 11 of the 2017 Tour de France and narrowly missing out on the day’s win on stage 13 of the 2016 Vuelta a España.

Wyss has a proven reputation as one of the team’s best domestiques and works tirelessly for his team leaders whenever required.
