19. February 2015 — Road Team

All seven of the BMC Racing Team's riders finished in the leading group as Alexander Kristoff (Katusha Team) won the stage. Stage 2 winner Fabian Cancellara (Trek Factory Racing) kept the overall lead while BMC Racing Team riders continue to hold down spots in the top 10. Greg Van Avermaet is fourth (six seconds back), Damiano Caruso is sixth and Tejay van Garderen is seventh (both at 10 seconds).

More extreme heat is expected for Friday's queen stage, the mountain-top finish at Green Mountain. Van Garderen was runner-up on the stage last year en route to his second place finish overall.
