Gerts finished in the same time as stage winner Jonas Van Genechten (IAM Cycling). Jürgen Roelandts (Lotto-Soudal) was runner-up in the 192.2-kilometer stage – the longest of the five-day race. Louis Verheist (Cofidis Solutions Crédits) finished third.

Alexis Gougeard (Ag2r La Mondiale) remained the overall leader, three seconds ahead of Martijn Keizer (Team LottoNL-Jumbo). Bohli, who finished eighth in Wednesday's prologue, is ninth overall, 19 seconds back.
