BMC Development Team will be looking to replicate previous success when the six-rider team lines up at Paris - Roubaix on Sunday (29 May).

Sport Director Klaas Lodewyck said that the team is ready to handle any pressure in the peloton.

“We are definitely on a good level going into this race. I think everyone is coming here in their best condition and we have many riders who are able to do a really good result and go for the win. After last year, with Lukas [Spengler], we will start with last year’s winner in the team so their will be some pressure but I think everyone is ready for that and will be able to handle the responsibility.”

Lukas Spengler is looking forward to returning to the race following victory in 2015.

“I feel really good ahead of Sunday. My training has been going well and I definitely feel prepared for the race. The weather will always be a key factor on the Paris - Roubaix parcours but last year the conditions were not great so I know that I can perform well in any situation. I will definitely be giving it 100 percent again this year to challenge for the win.”
