Lorraine Truong opens her victory counter

20. April 2015, Belfort, France — Enduro Team

Lorraine Truong did not have to wait very long to win her first race of the season. A few days only after her first appearance with the BMC Factory Trailcrew in New Zealand, the Swiss rider was the fastest at the second round of the Cannondale Enduro Tour in Belfort, France.

Lorraine did not have the best start to the weekend with a heavy crash in training on Saturday. Despite not feeling at her best, she decided to start the race on Sunday. Stage after stage she managed to build confidence to take a convincing win. “I am definitely happy with this win especially after my crash on Saturday. I am pleased with my riding and really enjoyed riding my bike on such nice trails”.

François Bailly-Maître ended up in fifth place and Florian Golay in 12th.

Next on the BMC Factory Trailcrew’s calendar is the All Mountain Challenge in Millau, France. A very singular race is awaiting for them there: two days of racing with an Enduro day and a Cross-country day, both to be completed on the same bike.
