Kerstin Kögler dominates Bike Attack in Lenzerheide

10. August 2015, Lenzerheide, Switzerland — Enduro Team

BMC Factory Trailcrew rider Kerstin Kögler took the win at the Bike Attack mass downhill event in Lenzerheide.

The figures of the 15th edition of Bike Attack, the largest mass-start downhill in Switzerland, are impressive: 18 kilometers, 2’000m of descent and 777 participants. Kerstin Kögler bravely embraced the challenge and decided to race her very first Marathon Downhill race there.

After qualifying third on Saturday, the German rider of the BMC Factory Trailcrew made the most of a front row start. Pointing in third position after the first steep and technical section, Kerstin caught up with the lead in a physical section and did not let any of the 38 female participants come back. She crossed the finish line after 36 minutes 07 seconds of racing. Austrian Birgit Braumann and German Sandra Börner completed the podium.
