Tom Bohli's ninth-place finish overall led the BMC Racing Team Sunday at the Tour de l’Eurométropole.

Bohli, one of three stagiaires on the team's roster for the five-day race, was on the attack in the final 40 kilometers. But his escape with eventual overall race winner Alexis Gougeard (Ag2r-La Mondiale) and Sander Cordeel (Vastgoedservice-Golden Palace) was short-lived.

Jonas Ahlstrand (Cofidis, Solutions Crédits) won the stage in a bunch sprint and BMC Racing Team's Floris Gerts was 18th. Bohli finished in the same time as Ahlstrand and was 22 seconds behind Gougeard in the final standings.
