A seven-strong team of riders will line up in Frankfurt’s financial district for the BMC Development Team’s debut at the Eschborn - Frankfurt: Rund Um Den Finanzplatz on 1 May.

Sport Director Jens Blatter thinks that the team is ready to step up in Frankfurt.

“The level of competition will be high at this race. There will be a lot of strong teams on the start line and the final section of the 148km course features short, steep climbs of up to 23% gradient, but I think that we have a strong team, who are motivated and ready to challenge for results,” said Blatter.

Sam Dobbs is looking forward to getting his first taste of European racing as he makes his debut for the BMC Development Team.

“I’m eager to get my season underway in Europe. Eschborn-Frankfurt is the first in a big block of racing coming up for me. We have a strong line up with lots of possibilities for producing results and I am confident that we can fight for the win,” said Dobbs.
