Belgium Tour, Stage 1: Drucker Sixth

BMC Racing Team's Jempy Drucker followed up his sixth place in Wednesday's prologue of the Baloise Belgium Tour with sixth place in the bunch sprint that capped Thursday's stage.

Tom Boonen (Etixx-Quick Step) took the win at the end of the 178.5-kilometer race. Arnaud Démare (FDJ) was runner-up and Jens Debusschere (Lotto-Soudal) finished third.

In the overall standings, BMC Racing Team's Rohan Dennis remains second, two seconds back of Matthias Brändle, who won the prologue. Greg Van Avermaet is fifth, at 11 seconds, and Drucker is sixth, 16 seconds back.
