3-daagse van West-Vlaanderen, Stage 1: Drucker Stays Seventh

BMC Racing Team's Jempy Drucker remained seventh overall following Saturday's 174-kilometer road race at 3-daagse van West-Vlaanderen that saw a group of five riders spoil the expected bunch sprint. (©Tim De Waele/TDWsport)

Drucker finished 14th and in the peloton that crossed the finish line four seconds after Yves Lampaert (Etixx-Quick Step) won the stage and took the race lead from Friday's prologue winner, Anton Vorobyev (Team Katusha). In the overall standings, Drucker is 19 seconds behind Lampaert.

Sunday's final stage is 184.5 kms and includes a hilly finishing circuit.
