Specialties and Strengths: Stage racing, time-trials
Tom Bohli first joined BMC Racing Team in 2015 as a stagiaire from BMC Development Team. During this time, he secured a top ten finish at Tour de l’Eurométropole before graduating to the pro ranks in 2016.
Bohli is a strong time specialist and proved that he is capable of hitting the high watts when he took his first win as a pro rider in the Driedaagse van West-Vlaanderen prologue in 2016. This performance was then followed by third place in the Driedaagse de Panne-Koksijde time trial with Bohli crossing the line with the same time as four-time World Time Trial champion Tony Martin.
Since then, the Swiss rider has not only impressed the team with his language skills but he has consistently showed that he has a phenomenal engine, finishing 3rd in the Škoda Tour de Luxembourg prologue, and helping BMC Racing Team to victory in both the Team Trial Trial at the 2016 Eneco Tour as well as the Team Classification at Larry H. Miller Tour of Utah.
