Rider profile

Jempy Drucker achieved an impressive first in 2016: his first individual Grand Tour stage win. He battled it out in a tricky sprint finish on Stage 16 of the Vuelta a Espana to stand on top of the podium and take his second individual win of the 2016 season after victory on home soil in the opening prologue of the Škoda Tour de Luxembourg.

Despite being part of the winning team time trial at the 2015 Vuelta a Espana - Drucker’s first Grand Tour - an individual stage seemed elusive with the Luxembourgish rider posting three top five finishes over the three-week race in 2016 but his motivation and determination never wavered.

Drucker’s first win as a professional cyclist came in 2015 at the Prudential Ride London & Surrey Classic and since then he has become one to watch out for at the front of the race when it comes to bunch sprints.
