Acceleration re-defined

The requirements for the Teammachine family were defined by the demands of WorldTour racing – a delicate balance of ultra-lightweight for those grueling, above-category climbs, and rapid-fire acceleration for laying down aggressive attacks. In response, our engineers outdid themselves and developed our proprietary ACE Technology. With this, they accelerated the design and engineering process and developed 34,000 virtual prototypes in just one year. The end result is the Teammachine SLR – offering the world‘s finest balance of lightweight, stiffness and compliance.

Asymmetrical chainstays are one result of the ACE Technology iteration process. Dramatic core stiffness is achieved through a BB86 bottom bracket with an extra-wide union at the intersection of the downtube, seat tube, and chainstays.

To create the Teammachine SLR01, we replaced traditional prototyping processes with the powerful Accelerated Composites Evolution (ACE) Technology. This unique, iterative, computer-modeling program analyzed over 34,000 possible frame configurations to optimize the bike’s geometrical structure, tube cross-sections, and carbon lay-up. The final result is a bike that embodies the perfect combination of weight, stiffness, and vertical compliance to deliver the ultimate WorldTour-worthy ride. 

Lightweight

The Teammachine SLR01 is the lightest road bike in our line up and one of the lightest framesets commercially available. But merely creating an extremely light bike is too easy for our engineers – it’s the unique blend of lightweight, stiffness and compliance that puts this exemplary road bike ahead of the rest. 

Stiff

Acceleration Re-defined – with every stomp of the pedals it’s obvious this is more than just a tagline; it’s an engineering philosophy. For the sharpest of climbs and the hardest accelerations, for every attack and every switchback, it’s obvious that the Teammachine SLR holds nothing back.

Compliant

Light, stiff, compliant – the old saying says “pick two”. With ACE Technology, we decided to pick all three. The Teammachine SLR was designed to keep our WorldTour riders fresh during the longest days in the saddle, it will do the same for you on your epic days.
